Science

As our mission statement "to Alleviate Human Suffering" suggests, this committee allocates most of our grant funds in the form of medical grants and medical research Program Related Investments (PRIs).

Through local universities, we fund post-doctoral fellows conducting special research and research projects in a variety of bioscience departments. We give to institutions involved in basic science research and fund clinical trials in areas of our past support.

The Brown Foundation will accept applications from Louisiana only.
