The Brown Foundation Center
The Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation Center opened March 31, 2003. It broadens the roots of this New Orleans-based, private Foundation which began in 1958, and it houses the offices of the Foundation, the Brown Foundation Service Learning Program and other non-profit organziations. Office space is offered for rent at a discount to ease the financial burden so many non-profit groups face. The Board’s wish is to offer a professional environment at a prime location to allow an organization to come into fruition and successfully move out to sustainable independence.
The Brown Foundation Center also offers a meeting space. The Community Conference Room is available for use by non-profit groups for volunteer training, meetings, lectures or workshop type gatherings, as well as for similar uses by local civic or religious organizations.
Please contact Harry Peneguy, Facilities Director for questions concerning availability of rental space at the Center.
